So the question, many of you asked yourself through the years if you knew somebody that played video games or even if you play them yourself or are the parent of a child that plays video games most of his free time is if there are any gad things that may have an effect on your, or your beloved ones, health if you overdo it (play too many games on your computer for a long period of time). And yeah there are a lot of those bad effects it has on you and your body. For example bad posture, tiredness, bloodshot eyes, lack of exercise, and so on. But you rarely hear somebody say: "There are some positive effects of playing video games". So today we will try to present some of those good effects that gaming has on you. So let us begin.
Is gaming good for you?
First of all. There are a lot of bad effects gaming has on you as we stated above. But as we will see, as long as you do not overdo it, there are actually some good effects too.

It helps you to relax
Playing video games usually helps you get relaxed and it can also make you calmer and help you to forget the stress of everyday life. Gaming also helps with reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. Gaming may also ease the symptoms of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and might also help those with social anxiety disorder and help them learn about social cues and develop relationships.
Improves everyday skills
Gaming helps you to focus for longer periods of time than usual. It also improves your working memory and rapid decision-making abilities and it has been found to enhance hand-eye coordination.
Basic visual processes
Playing video games increases the ability to distinguish subtle differences, and increases the ability to visually detect the direction of movement.
Problem-solving efficiency
Gaming improves the function of multitasking and problem-solving. It also increases mental flexibility and even reverse the mental decline as people age.
Conclusion:
As we have seen, playing video games may have some really positive effects on our health, but as we know it also has some negative as well. So the conclusion is: " As long as you do not overdo it and stay within the time limit you have set for yourself, I don't know why not to do it. Above all, it helps you relax after a long stressful day, and helps you to get in contact with a lot of different people widening your social skills true interactions."
