WHAT IS THIS ARTICLE ABOUT?
In this article, we will try to help you manage your messy cables and with that help you make your office or gaming setup look nicer, cleaner, and enjoyable.
First things first. If you already have your setup completed with all the gadgets and items you have on your desk, unplug all the cables and gadgets and move them somewhere off your desk. Preferably you can take your other items off your desk too because you will have to clean it and it would be easier for you to start from scratch.
Now you should have a clean desk with nothing on it. Clean your desk and the area you will have your setup in. Put your computer on its spot and plug in all gadgets you have (mouse, keyboard, monitor, computer power, ...), then place them where you want them to be and run their cables behind the desk.
Here comes the tricky and most important part. Get to the leftover cables and use zip ties and try to zip tie all of them together into a single line of cables. Now try to hide the leftover cables under your desk. If your desk doesn't have table drawers to hide your cables behind don't worry. There are a lot of solutions on how you can hide your cables. Two of them are cable raceways and cable management trays that you can mount under your desk to store all your power bricks and cables.
Now get all your items and decorate your workplace.
